Ingrid Weighton has 15 years experience teaching, and has gained a reputation both as a teacher of new drivers, and as a driving therapist – someone who can help both new drivers and anxious drivers. Often, students are referred to Ingrid who have experienced a crash or other trauma, or who are re-learning driving skills after being off the road.
Q. Why do you call yourself a driving coach rather than an instructor?
“In 2001 when I started teaching, I discovered very quickly that I am particularly good with fearful drivers. I developed my method of coaching which focuses not only on the driving skills, but also the confidence to drive successfully.”
Ingrid serves students in the Victoria, BC, Canada area – Victoria, Saanich, Oak Bay and Esquimalt.
Road test students from outlying area are encouraged to meet Ingrid in a central location to get the most out of their instructional time. “I suggest that students working toward a road test take most of their instruction in the downtown area, as it provides consistently better results. For clients who are taking coaching / therapy, I am pleased to meet at the place most convenient to you.”
Ingrid’s instruction covers all of the requirements as set by ICBC for Class 5 and Class 7 licensing.
Please call 250-388-6638 and leave a message for Ingrid. Remember that is a violation in BC to operate a cellular phone while in control of a vehicle, so Ingrid will call you back!
